About Ziko
Ziko traveled all the way from Egypt to the United States earlier this year, bringing with him a heartwarming story. Once a street cat, he has endured cruelty that resulted in the amputation of his tail, leaving him with an adorable little nub. Despite his rough beginnings, Ziko is a sweet, loving cat, but he can be a bit shy, particularly around new people. He loves gentle pets on his head but may feel uneasy with a full-body touch until he gets to know you. Ziko has incredibly soft fur, and his favorite pastimes include lounging on the couch with a heating pad, cuddling with his foster mom, and watching birds outside the window. He also enjoys playing and will chase after any moving toy! Ziko gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion. However, he can also flourish as the sole cat if he receives ample love and attention. His ideal home is calm and quiet, with a patient adopter willing to support him as he adjusts and comes out of his shell. Ziko is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
