About Gam Gam
Gam Gam, a sweet 12-year-old Chihuahua, arrived at the San Diego Humane Society as a stray, waiting for someone to claim her. Unfortunately, no one stepped forward, but she found her way to the Frosted Faces Foundation on June 9th. Since then, she has been adjusting to the changes in her life. Though she's a bit shy at first, Gam Gam’s gentle nature shines through with time. Her foster mom shares that she needs a little patience to decompress—roughly three weeks—to truly feel at home. Once comfortable, she enjoys cozying up on the couch or curling up beside her people. Gam Gam loves to explore during walks and keeps a brisk pace, making her ideal for active companions. She's calm and quiet, only seeking attention when she feels secure. With a loving environment, she has made significant strides in building her confidence, and while car rides and alone time can still cause her some anxiety, she's progressing well. This sweet girl gets along well with other dogs and would benefit from having a friendly companion in her new home. If you're ready to offer Gam Gam the patience and love she needs, you'll find a devoted companion waiting for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
