About Skipper
Skipper is a vibrant three-legged dog looking for her forever home through Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas. This sporty pit bull/mixed breed hybrid has an energetic spirit and a deep affection for fetch, making her a perfect companion for active families. Skipper’s journey began with a traumatic leg injury, but after having her front leg amputated, she's fully healed and ready to share her playful and affectionate nature with someone special. Her striking black and white coloring makes her stand out, but it’s her delightful personality that truly shines. While she needs some leash training, through the use of a head halter, she responds well to basic commands and is eager to please. Skipper isn't a fan of other dogs or cats, so she’ll thrive best as the only pet in the home. Once she trusts you, she will be your loyal couch companion and craves relaxation time after her play sessions. With some patience and some tasty treats, you’ll find that this sweet girl blossoms into a loving companion. If you’re interested in helping Skipper transition into her new home, consider adopting her. Your new best friend is just one click away.
