Meet Meemaw! This sweet girl is about 5-6 years old and weighs 10.6 lbs. While she may have some Chihuahua in her mix, she's definitely a unique character all her own. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Meemaw is now in a foster home where she’s learning to adapt. She’s currently working hard on her house training, crate training, and leash walking. With her gentle nature, she would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+), as well as in the company of cats and other small dogs. Her foster enthusiastically shares that if there’s a lap available, Meemaw swiftly makes herself comfortable for a cuddle. Though she may be a bit shy at first and startled by loud noises, once she forms a bond, she becomes a devoted companion, often referred to as a "Velcro dog." She enjoys attention and is food motivated, making her training journey all the more achievable. Meemaw gets along with dogs her size but isn’t much for playing; she does prefer to spend quiet time with her humans. Currently, Meemaw is ready to find her forever home in Hopkinton, MA.
