About Piper

Piper is waiting for her moment... could you be the one to give it to her? She came to Rome Animal Control as a stray, and sadly, no one came looking for her. While we can't change the start of her story, we can help her find a much happier chapter. Right now, Piper is looking for someone to say yes. At around 40 pounds, she's the perfect medium size. Possibly a Husky mix, Piper has a unique and beautiful coat that catches the eye. She seems to do well with other dogs, and while her relationship with cats is unknown, she’s ready for a fresh start. Her markings are stunning, paired with bright eyes and a sweet face that make her truly one-of-a-kind. Imagine how lovely she’ll be when settled into a home where she can finally relax and let her personality shine. Currently, Piper is still at animal control. She hasn’t gone into a foster home because she needs someone to step forward first. Just picture how her life could transform—trading kennel walls for a cozy couch, lonely days for neighborhood walks, and uncertainty for a loving family. That’s the future we want for Piper. Whether you're looking to adopt or can offer temporary care, you can change the course of her life. Sometimes, all it takes is one person believing in a dog. Could that person be you?
