Duke is a charming 3-year-old cream-colored Miniature Poodle mix weighing 17 pounds. Rescued thanks to a Good Samaritan, he’s made great strides in his medical and grooming needs, including a recent grooming session that has made him feel much better. While still sporting some natural tear stains from licking, these are expected to fade with regular grooming. Duke has been microchipped, neutered, and is up to date on his rabies and DAPP vaccines, so he's all set for his forever home. This sweet, albeit shy, boy has shown more confidence when he’s not around other dogs, suggesting he may thrive best in a separate household. However, he gets along wonderfully with the dogs in his foster home. Duke learned to use the doggy door in a day and has been fully house trained since. He’s looking for an adopter who understands the adjustment period known as the 3-3-3 rule (3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months).
