About Tuxie

Tuxie, our sweet companion, joined us during a small trap-neuter-return project. Already spayed when she arrived, she had some knots in her fur, hinting at a rough past where she may have been abandoned by her former owners. While petite in size, Tuxie has a big personality and exudes confidence. Living with her buddies Homer and Florence, she rules the roost despite being small. Tuxie prefers attention on her own terms; she'll let you know when she's had enough with a gentle tap. She's not one to be chased but will comfortably come to you when she’s ready. This little Tuxedo cat loves birdwatching and calls for attention with her adorable chirpy meows. Having gotten along well with every cat she's encountered, Tuxie hasn't been tested with dogs or children yet. Still, with a patient introduction to a dog or if placed in a home with older kids, she may thrive. Tuxie is a wonderful pick for someone seeking a companion with her own unique personality.
