About Onyx

Meet Onyx, an adorable baby boy born on June 4, 2026. This sweet Pit Bull Terrier mix was found as one of eight puppies abandoned on a porch in Texas, but he’s now been given a second chance at life, surrounded by love and care in his foster home. As he prepares to make the leap into forever, Onyx is eager for a family to call his own. Onyx is more laid-back than many of his siblings and enjoys cuddling with his favorite humans. While he’s not fully house-trained yet, he brings a friendly and playful spirit. He gets along well with both dogs and children, making him a great addition to any loving family. He will come to you fully vaccinated, with three rounds of age-appropriate vaccinations, a spay/neuter scheduled for September 1, 2026, and a health certificate through USDA. Please note, while adoption applications are welcome, he currently resides in Mansfield, TX, and will travel through one of our trusted transport partners once an adoption is approved. Expect some flexibility with transport logistics, but rest assured the love in Onyx's heart is worth it. If you're ready to welcome a loyal companion into your life, Onyx can't wait to meet you!
