About Leo
Meet Leo! This handsome boy bounced back to life after enduring some tough times. Rescued after being injured, he’s recovering from a broken leg and a pelvic injury, but he’s on the mend and can’t wait for his forever home. Leo is about a year old and weighs in at nearly 50 lbs; he’ll likely settle between 50 and 60 lbs when healthy. His foster mom isn’t certain of his exact breed, but thinks he’s a mix of collie and retriever, and he’s definitely got the charm to match. Leo is a friendly guy, loving everyone he meets, and he’s good with kids. Though he hasn’t been around dogs much yet, he’s showing promise and will soon be meeting more of them. Unfortunately, he does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is ideal. He's been doing great in his crate and is house trained, showing good behavior during quiet time. As he continues to heal, he’s eager to get back to more playful adventures outside. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who radiates positivity, Leo might just be your perfect match. Let's make his next chapter his best one yet!
