Pete was surrendered after a year with his siblings, Lucy, Susan, and Edmund, all named after characters from Narnia. Unfortunately, his previous family couldn’t provide him the attention he truly deserves. A lot of his time was spent crated, so he could benefit from some gentle training to help him adjust and learn proper behaviors. Thankfully, Pete is already housebroken and crate trained. This affectionate boy loves attention and shows his happiness by jumping on people, which might catch little ones off guard, given his size at 69 pounds. He gets along well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is essential due to his large stature. Pete is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, having tested negative for heartworms.
