Dawn's journey to becoming a Thistle Cat has been quite the adventure. She was found pregnant by a caring community member and came into our hands with plans to return her to her owner after some vet assistance. However, life had different ideas; Dawn gave birth before her scheduled appointment. Tucked away beneath a bedroom bed, she welcomed three nearly identical black-and-white kittens, proving to be an incredible mom from the start—attentive, patient, and deeply devoted. After her boys grew and were ready for their own homes, Dawn was meant to go back. Sadly, the person who rescued her passed away unexpectedly, leaving her without a family to return to. We couldn’t let her continue to wait, so we officially welcomed her into Thistle Cat, determined to find her a loving forever home. This stunning long-haired black beauty adores being close to her humans. She sweetly chirps to ask for affection and relishes being brushed, considering her catnip rainbow the greatest toy ever. Dawn enjoys lounging in the catio, soaking in the sun as she watches the world. Now it's her time to receive the love and attention she freely provided her kittens. Dawn deserves a forever home filled with affection, sunny naps, and all the cuddles she craves.
