Rescued from the southwestern U.S., she's well-versed in the art of relaxation but perks up during walks, ready to explore. Jilly is a people-oriented dog, although she can be a bit shy in new situations; however, she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. Her favorite pastime is window-watching, absorbing the world around her which still feels new and exciting. She's been a sweetheart with everyone she's encountered and has been sociable with other dogs too, often more interested in greeting their owners than the dogs themselves. Jilly has proven herself reliable with potty training and is adjusting well to her leash skills. Although she would adapt well as an only dog, she could also thrive with a companion. Jilly does best in a calm-to-moderately-active household and would appreciate a patient adopter to help her navigate new experiences.
