Lilly is a delightful 5-month-old creamy Yellow Labrador Retriever who blends calmness with a playful spirit. Weighing around 35 pounds, she carries a gentle and affectionate personality that's hard to resist. Lilly thrives in the company of people and seems happiest when she’s by your side, ready to dive into whatever adventures come your way. After her elderly owners realized they couldn’t manage a young puppy, she was taken in by family members who cared for her since May. However, they recognized that their lifestyle didn’t allow for the time and attention a young pup needs, leading them to make the considerate decision to find her a more suitable home. Lilly greets everyone with boundless enthusiasm and is particularly fond of children, having gotten along well with the four-year-old in her previous home. She enjoys playing with other dogs, attending doggy daycare twice a week, and even made a sweet connection with an older Golden on a walk recently. She appreciates outdoor activities as much as cozy car rides, making her a well-rounded companion. Already crate trained and mostly house-trained, Lilly has a knack for settling in quickly and entertaining herself when needed. She is still perfecting her leash manners and responds to commands like sit, come, and down, thanks to a few training sessions. She can get a little excitable when meeting new people, but this is already improving. Keep her away from tempting snacks to ensure her safety. Adopters should be committed to ensuring Lily is spayed once she reaches 1 year of age or as advised by their veterinarian. She is vaccinated and heartworm negative.
