About Gus

George is a handsome gentleman with a playful spirit. He enjoys engaging with anyone ready for some fun, often nudging them with his toy to get a game started—playtime is one of his favorite activities. Despite his energy, George is quite gentle and knows to drop the toy politely for you to toss again. He loves long walks and usually walks well on the leash. While he can be energetic, he might feel uneasy around younger kids with lots of energy, so a home with older children would be ideal. George is impressively smart, picking up several languages including English, Spanish, and even American Sign Language. He's familiar with many tricks, like sitting and giving a gentle shake, and he'll always be there for a tasty treat. Come meet George at the shelter and see why he’s loved by the staff and volunteers. Ready to make him part of your family?
