About Kaya

Meet Kaya, a lovely young Golden Retriever looking for her forever or foster home. Kaya came to the Palmdale shelter on August 6, along with another dog named Maya. Although the shelter vet estimated their ages around two years, there's a possibility they could be mother and daughter. Kaya arrived without a collar, tag, or microchip, meaning no one could trace her back to a previous owner. After a 10-day stray hold, we stepped in to rescue her and Maya. Kaya’s friendly demeanor made her easy to handle at the shelter, and as we learn more about her personality, we’ll keep you updated. If you're eager to meet this sweet girl, please submit your adoption application through labradorsandfriends.org. Kaya is currently in San Diego, CA and ready for her chance at a loving home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
