Meet Raven, previously known as Princess Peony! This sweet girl is just a year old and weighs 34 lbs. After being adopted in March, she returned to us due to a job loss in her previous family. Raven can be a bit shy, but she walks well on a leash and enjoys the great outdoors, especially trips to the lake. She’s affectionate, playful, and curious. While she took some time to warm up to a two-year-old, she adored the older children in her previous home and loved engaging with them. When feeling overwhelmed, she would tuck her tail and ears, seeking comfort from adults. Raven thrives in an environment with older children and a consistent presence, as she needs a patient family to help her see that the world isn’t so scary after all. Having previously lived with small dogs and even animals like horses, chickens, goats, and pigs, Raven is sociable and friendly.
