Cherry is thriving in her foster home! This adventurous lady has come a long way since her days in a rural Kentucky animal control where she suffered from a condition known as "cherry eye." Although it looked alarming, it wasn't painful. Thanks to dedicated volunteers who helped her get the medical care she needed, Cherry is now healed and full of life. At around 35 lbs, this medium-sized girl is a delight on the leash, and she has a knack for making friends with both humans and dogs. Watching her run is a joyful experience; she glides like the wind and loves to play chase, always coming out on top. Cherry is also a water enthusiast, enjoying everything from baby pools to lakes. A recent outing with a volunteer had her excitedly splashing and exploring. Cherry has been a good girl in her foster home. She's mostly house trained, with only one accident reported, and settles well in her crate. Her charm is undeniable; she's known for leaning in for hugs and showering everyone with kisses.
