Leggs is a resilient and affectionate 32-pound, 1-year-old mixed-breed dog who’s ready to be a part of your life. Though he started off life as a feral pup, this brave guy has shown tremendous growth and has adapted beautifully to home life. He has a sweet nature, enjoys cuddling under blankets with his toys, and is gentle with children and other dogs. Leggs is crate trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside, plus he’s fantastic on a leash. His training is progressing well, tackling basic commands and even enjoying trips to parks and pet-friendly stores like Petco. His ideal home appreciates his initial need to decompress and is ready for an intuitive companion who will be fiercely loyal. Please note, he doesn't get along with cats, so a feline-free environment is best. Currently in Texas, Leggs is available for adoption and can be transported out of state.
