Duchess is a 6-year-old Persian cat ready for her forever home. She's spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, with a recent health exam confirming her good health. As a Persian, she has some typical eye leakage, so an experienced adopter is preferred to handle her grooming needs. Duchess is quite independent; she enjoys her own space but will come over for affection when she wants it. Currently living with other foster kitties, Duchess does fine with them but prefers to keep to herself, observing her surroundings quietly. She loves her wet food and will curiously watch you during mealtime. Ideal candidates for adoption will be located within 20 miles of Goodyear, as home checks are essential for her safety. We're looking for a calm environment without dogs, young kids, and preferably only one or two other friendly cats that respect her independence.
