Meet Ernie, a timid yet affectionate cat who takes his time to warm up. Initially, he hides away, but once he feels safe, he purrs and leans into pets, showing just how much love he has to give. Found as a stray, it seems he's had previous human companionship, evident from the missing fur around his neck where a collar would rub. While we aren't sure how he will interact with dogs or children, he has shown he doesn't mind other cats at the shelter. He came in with another male cat named Bert, and they get along well but aren’t tightly bonded.
