Zoey is an 18-month-old, 38-pound blue and white terrier mix who originally came to Alachua County Animal Services on June 6, 2026, as an owner surrender due to changes in her family situation. Initially highly defensive while caring for her puppies, Zoey has more recently shown signs of anxiety, requiring medication and a safe space to decompress. Though she is sweet with her trusted caregivers and enjoys the company of other dogs, she has a history of being untrusting and intermittently reactive towards newcomers. Because of her behavioral needs, Zoey requires a commitment from a 501c3 rescue organization. She is not available for general adoption at this time.
