Meet Ransom. Ransom is a lively 1.5-year-old Lab mix weighing in at 60 pounds. He carries a playful spirit and a gentle heart, coupled with a story that truly deserves a happy ending. Raised in our rescue since he was just days old, Ransom has always been surrounded by love. His journey includes adoption as a puppy, where he thrived in a caring home until unforeseen circumstances led him back to us. At first, returning to rescue was unnerving for Ransom. However, it didn’t take long for his affectionate nature and sweet personality to resurface. Once he feels safe, Ransom shows an immense capacity for love and loyalty. One of his favorite activities is playing fetch; he can chase a ball for hours! He enjoys the outdoors, exploring his surroundings, and soaking up the sun. Ransom is already potty and crate trained, and he knows basic commands like sit and shake. His ideal forever family would provide him with the stability he craves, allowing his bright spirit to flourish undisturbed. He’s great with children and does well with other dogs and even cats. Ransom’s longing for a loving family is evident, and with a bit of patience during his transition, he promises to shower his new home with endless affection and joy.
