Meet Alfalfa, a young and energetic pup at our Everyday Adoption Center inside PetSmart South Gate Market in La Grange, KY. Neutered and in good health, he is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Alfalfa is still learning about his housebreaking, so keep an eye out for updates on his progress. He gets along with other dogs and may truly enjoy having a canine companion by his side. While we haven't seen how he interacts with cats yet, a slow introduction would be the best approach if he joins a home with one. We’re still observing his behavior with children as well. Alfalfa just arrived, so there’s still much to learn about him. He is heartworm positive but is undergoing treatment at the Ellis Clinic, which will incur no cost to his adopter.
