About Derby

Derby is a neutered, fully healthy adult dog who’s ready to find his forever home. With an enthusiastic spirit, he is up to date on all vaccines and is microchipped. Currently residing in a foster home, Derby is reliably potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He thrives in a dog-proofed area where he can roam free rather than being crated He prefers to be the only dog, seeking the spotlight and a home without other canine companions. Derby does not get along with cats, so a cat-free environment is a must. He would do best with older, dog-savvy children capable of understanding his boundaries. While he’s playful, Derby also enjoys relaxing time with his humans. His loyalty shines through as he loves being by your side, whether you're working or just chilling at home. Derby is not particularly food motivated, but he does have a soft spot for freshly cooked chicken breast. Although we can't pinpoint his precise breed, he shows characteristics of both a Pit Bull Terrier and a Boxer. Most importantly, this sweet boy’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor, making him eager to share his love with a new family. Are you ready to welcome Derby into your life?
