About Ruby & Archie
Ruby and Archie are a delightful bonded pair who transitioned into the care of our rescue through a local TNR partner. They thrive on structured routines, cozy beds, and plenty of affection. Initially shy, especially around loud individuals, they warm up once they feel secure in their environment. Archie, the little lap cat, adores snuggles. She's quiet but makes her presence known with a loud purr instead of meowing. A true foodie, Archie loves treats and is learning not to swipe from the dinner plate. Brave and curious, she's always exploring everything, from checking out unusual sounds to sneaking into bags and closets. At night, her zoomies turn the house into an adventure hive, and she’s especially fond of sunbathing on soft, warm surfaces. Ruby, on the other hand, takes a more reserved approach. She prefers to observe first, only moving in once she feels comfortable. Ruby enjoys following you around and can often be found lounging near you, waiting for a good scratch, especially at her sensitive tail base. While she is chatty compared to Archie, she likes to sit on higher perches, especially a cozy window hammock, and will make her needs heard when it comes to food. Both get along well with other cats and would do best in a home with older, calm children who can respect their personalities. They may be okay with a gentle, dog-friendly pet, given a proper introduction. Ruby and Archie enjoy each other’s company, love to play with feathered wand toys, and will chase spring toys around the house. Although they dislike scary noises and quick movements, their easygoing nature makes them perfect companions for a quiet home.
