About Gertrude

Meet Gertrude, a sweet 6-year-old former mama cat eager to find her forever home. After being surrendered to a Kentucky shelter due to her owner's passing, Gertrude surprised everyone by giving birth to four healthy kittens overnight. She has been an amazing, loving mom, but now it’s her time to enjoy life without motherhood's responsibilities. Gertrude is gentle and affectionate, thriving on cheek scratches and chin rubs. She has an adorable little warble that she uses to let you know she’s ready for breakfast. Whether lounging next to you or observing birds from a sunny window perch, she exudes a calm and loving presence. Her striking cream point coloring, creamy fur, and light blue eyes only add to her charm. She’s already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, making her an easy addition to any home. Gertrude is litter box trained and has shown a friendly demeanor around both dogs and children. She’s currently being fostered in the Goodlettsville/Joelton area.
