Melanie is a nearly five-month-old Cocker Spaniel mix who came to us as a breeder surrender. It's possible she didn't develop the coat her previous owner wanted, but we think her short, soft fur makes her even cuter. She’s charming just the way she is. Still learning her puppy skills, potty training is coming along, and she’s figuring things out steadily. Crate training has been more of a challenge, but covering her crate helps her settle in and sleep peacefully. Melanie has made remarkable progress since joining us. Although she may not have received much training before, her intelligence shines through as she picks things up quickly.
