Sophus is a lovable baby male American Shorthair with a short black coat. He is house trained and has received his vaccinations. Living in Grand Prairie, TX, he is ready for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. He hasn't been altered yet, but he's full of affection and bravery as he transitions into this new life.

About Sophus

Sophus has already faced more than any cat should. He was found living in an airport complex with an injury to his leg caused by a BB gun, where someone had been cruelly harming animals. Thankfully, the BB fell out on its own by the time Sophus reached the veterinarian, allowing him to embark on a new, brighter path. Now, as an indoor cat, he fully embraces life. Sophus is incredibly lovable, social, and thrives on attention. He enjoys spending time with people and would flourish in a home where he feels safe and included. His favorite foods include Purina Indoor Hairball Control and Kirkland Signature Complete Maintenance dry food. He is particularly fond of Purina and Friskies wet foods, especially pรขtรฉ and Gravy Pleasers. Want to help Sophus leave behind his tough past for a future filled with affection and care? Heโ€™s patiently waiting for the right match!
