Peach is a sweet and shy young lady, around 1 year old and weighing approximately 25 lbs. Hello—I'm Peach! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I'm excited to soak up the love and attention from the wonderful volunteers. While I don't remember much of my past, I arrived with some fears that I’m learning to overcome. What’s important is that I’m ready for a fresh start with a loving and gentle family who can help me recognize my worth and offer the forever love I deserve. I’m currently participating in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, which is helping me gain confidence while I learn and have fun. I do enjoy the company of other dogs but tend to be a bit tentative at first. It would be great to meet a nice dog already in the home. As for cats, I'm unsure. Regarding kids, I met some at the shelter and found their movements a bit intimidating. I believe I would do best with calm children over 10 years old. I’m a timid girl hiding a sweet disposition, eager to come out as I build trust. My energy level is between 4-6, likely to increase as I grow more comfortable. I've already mastered the sit command through the training program, and I enjoy snuggling with the volunteers. Just a heads-up: loud noises and hurried movements give me a scare.
