Meet Jack! This 9-10 year old, 15 lb Poodle mix, probably with Schnauzer, is an absolute love bug. He came to us from a rural family in Nebraska who adored him but struggled with too many dogs and couldn't manage all their needs. Upon arrival, Jack needed some serious care, including a full shave, parasite treatment, and a dental cleaning that resulted in 19 teeth being removed. Despite all this, he remains the sweetest and happiest little guy. Jack gets along with dogs of all sizes and tolerates cats, making him a great fit for a household that values harmony among pets. He does well with kids and is an easygoing companion who loves car rides, walks, and cozying up for naps. Although he’s crate trained, he occasionally wears belly bands to prevent marking due to the enticing smells around him. He seems housebroken when visiting other homes, but belly bands can help him adjust in a new environment.
