Meet Perla, a delightful puppy who is being fostered in Dundalk, MD and is ready for meet and greets! At about 4 months old and weighing 24 lbs as of August 8, 2026, Perla radiates charm, especially with her unique brown eye patch. While we can’t pinpoint her exact breed, she’s thought to be a Lab/Shepherd mix. Perla is fantastic with children, having spent time with a 9-year-old girl in her foster home and previously in a home with three young kids. She's gentle and loving, often showering them with sweet little kisses. This affectionate nature extends to everyone she encounters; she’s friendly and enjoys human companionship. As a typical puppy, Perla has boundless energy and loves playing tug of war with her rope toy and other dogs. Despite her youthful exuberance, she also knows when to unwind. She can happily entertain herself with her chew toys, and she’s surprisingly mindful about not getting into trouble. Perla is crate trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night.
