About Shadow

Shadow is a gentle soul who has spent much of his life in foster care. He’s a sweet, handsome boy eager to find his forever home, yet he might need a little time to warm up. Once he trusts you, Shadow will curl up beside you, enjoying pets and snuggles. His journey toward confidence has been remarkable, and his foster mom has seen him grow braver every day. This curious feline takes his duties as the neighborhood watch captain quite seriously, monitoring all the comings and goings from the safety of a window. He enjoys playing with his red ball and feather toys, even giving his fuzzy mice a swim in the water bowl—because what’s life without a little fun? Shadow would thrive in a calm environment where he can feel secure and finally know what it means to belong. He would prefer to be your one-and-only kitty, but could potentially share a home with another gentle cat after a slow introduction. Respectful older children are welcome too, as he’s learning to interact at his own pace. Healthy, fully vaccinated, and with perfect litter box habits, Shadow is ready for his forever home. If this sweet boy sounds like a match for you, feel free to reach out and arrange a visit. Shadow is waiting for someone who understands that trust takes time—but once earned, it’s something special.
