Meet Bruce, a charming Sheepadoodle from a local shelter. At 2 years old and weighing 67 lbs, he was recently shaved down due to severe matting, but his curls will be breathtaking once they grow back. Bruce was adopted but returned less than 24 hours later. His previous owner, inexperienced with dogs, faced challenges; Bruce growled when he was repositioned in bed. We recommend crate training during the adjustment period, especially for new arrivals. Bruce would thrive with an assertive adopter who understands his need for time to acclimate. He prefers a home without small children or small dogs, as he tends to show dominance over them, but he interacts well with dogs his size. Sweet, playful, and affectionate, Bruce enjoys attention and is house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
