Meet Aurora! Aurora is a delightful mixed breed girl who wants to be by your side at all times—preferably snuggled up in your lap! She's incredibly sweet and loving, thriving on attention and closeness with her humans. Don’t let her medium size fool you; Aurora has an energetic spirit. When she’s outside, watch out—she loves to run and sometimes even attempts to race around the house. However, she always finds her way back to snuggle up against you. This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and adores car rides. Aurora enjoys outings to stores and public places where she can greet new faces and soak up all the attention. She’s friendly and welcoming to everyone she meets. One of Aurora’s standout traits is her responsiveness to human cues. She listens carefully to verbal commands and is eager to meet your expectations. Even when she occasionally strays, gentle verbal instruction is all she needs. No heavy corrections are necessary; she’s eager to be your perfect companion. Aurora has shown she can coexist with larger male dogs under supervision and can interact well with smaller dogs and females when safely separated by a fence. She does get a bit eager when meeting new dogs, wanting to greet them enthusiastically but respects their boundaries when told. While she has limited experience with children, she has been gentle and loving toward those she has met, bringing out her sweet personality. Aurora is a heartfelt, affectionate companion searching for a family that can give the love, companionship, exercise, and patience she desires.
