Zita is a sweet dog who came to us through our shelter-to-shelter program from St. Lucia. She loves spending time with her people, enjoys pets, and delights in going for walks and playtime. Zita gets along well with other dogs, especially those that are calm and laid-back, making her a great companion for a respectful canine friend. She’s still learning and adjusting, so her new family should continue consistent training while providing enrichment to boost her confidence. Zita may need a little help with house training, as she’s still getting used to her new home. While she’s a bit apprehensive about being picked up, Zita will appreciate a family who respects her boundaries and allows her to build trust at her own pace.
