Alex is a 2.5-year-old Shih Tzu, sweet and affectionate, weighing around 14 pounds. He adores people and loves all dogs, even getting extra excited when it's playtime. Alex has some special needs due to permanent paralysis in his hind end from an accident, but that doesn’t dampen his spirit. He feels right at home with his foster dog sisters and even enjoys the company of his foster cat sister. When outdoors, Alex uses a wheelchair to explore and chase after dogs at the park, and he has fun powering around with his front legs inside. Though he is incontinent due to his injuries, his foster mom helps manage this with diapers and a drag bag.
