Ariel is a gentle, sweet-natured 8-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix at Oakland Animal Services. Weighing 75 pounds, she delights in casual neighborhood strolls, breathing in all the sights and sounds. After her walk, she’s perfectly happy to curl up on the couch or nestle into a cozy dog bed. Though initially a bit reserved, Ariel warms up quickly with treats and gentle affection. She’s shown little interest in other dogs but might thrive with a calm and easygoing companion. While on walks, she pays attention to cats and squirrels, showcasing her curious side. Ariel comes with impressive skills, being house-trained and well-mannered at home. She’s happy to wait patiently while her humans are out and knows commands like sit, shake, and wait.
