AvailableAbout Rosco
Rosco entered Bonita Shelter as a stray in April, and unfortunately, no one came forward to claim him. In early July, a wonderful foster family provided him with the love, comfort, and stability he desperately needed. As of August 17, Rosco became a Frosted Face, allowing us to assist with his medical care. He will stay with his foster family until he finds his forever home. At about 7 years old and weighing around 70 pounds, Rosco is a sweet and friendly boy who genuinely enjoys being around people. He appears to be potty trained and is thriving in his foster home. While he may not prefer being crated, he will enter his crate to eat when the door is left open. His foster family believes that with some patience and positive reinforcement, he can become more used to crate training. At night, Rosco prefers to curl up on a dog bed in the same room as his foster mom rather than being crated. Walking Rosco is a joy; he is easy to manage on a leash and shows minimal interest in other dogs while out. He maintained his composure even during a bath at the shelter. Rosco's playful side shines through when he interacts with his favorite flirt pole toy. He may gently mouth his human's hands while playing but does not apply pressure. When feeling excited, he has a charming habit of spinning with joy. This big, lovable guy has shown just how sweet and adaptable he can be. Having gone through so much, he deserves a family that will offer him the love, patience, and security he has long awaited. Could you be the family Rosco needs? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
