About Sylvester

Sylvester is a striking black-and-white tuxedo cat with unique markings that create a charming mask-like appearance around his face. This gentle soul loves attention and greets visitors with welcoming leg rubs and purring affection. He’s great with respectful kids and allows them to hold him comfortably. At six years old, Sylvester has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), a virus that affects the immune system but doesn’t change his sweet personality. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but he’s perfectly fine with dogs and other pets. For those interested in adopting, Austin Pets Alive! provides specialized care and support related to Sylvester's condition, ensuring a smooth transition to his new home. All cats at APA! are fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and come with a microchip. If you’d like to learn more or meet Sylvester, please reach out via email.
