AvailableAbout Bandit
Bandit is a 12-year-old, 15-pound Dachshund/Poodle mix who has faced more hardship than most dogs ever should. After losing both the woman who loved him and her daughter in quick succession, Bandit found himself in a tough situation. Although he was taken in by a relative, they eventually couldn’t meet his needs. When he arrived at Tyson's Place, Bandit was covered in fleas and suffering from a painful skin infection. His fur was so severely matted that it had formed dreadlocks, and he had been living in less-than-ideal conditions. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time, and he's now receiving the care he deserves. Since arriving, Bandit has undergone treatment for his ailments, had his mats shaved away, and is finally feeling better. Though he does have arthritis that requires lifelong pain management, he's otherwise in good health. As his beautiful coat grows back, he'll look even more stunning. Bandit's true charm lies in his personality. He walks well on a leash and has lived harmoniously with dogs and cats. His favorite spot is in your lap, where he loves to snuggle and offer hugs. Housebroken and well-mannered, Bandit will thrive in a home where someone is around often, whether through retirement, working from home, or a flexible schedule. After all he's endured, we hope his next chapter brings him the love and comfort he deserves. Could you be Bandit's forever person?
