LOCATION: Main Shelter Kennel Meet Boeing, the star of Jet City! With ears as large as plane wings, she’s hard to miss. Though she can be a bit shy initially, her heart melts with her favorite treat—cheese. Boeing is incredibly sweet and loving, eager to share her affection. Her foster parent notes that she’s excellent on a leash and enjoys long walks, runs, hikes, and even trips to the beach where she relaxes in the sand. A lover of car rides, she can settle in anywhere. When the zoomies hit, she hops around like a bunny, tucking her tail under while playfully bounding back and forth. Indoors, Boeing only chews on her toys and is house trained, capable of holding it for up to 8 hours. Her favorite spot for napping is the couch. She enjoys fetching, though sometimes she forgets to bring the ball back! At bedtime, she jumps up to cuddle for about five minutes of pets and attention before settling at the end of the bed to sleep. Boeing plays well with other dogs and enjoys attending doggie playgroups. The ideal home for Boeing would have multiple people, with someone at home most of the time, and a yard for her to frolic in. An apartment setting could work too, as long as she gets her bonding time. Boeing is ready to meet her new family! The Seattle Animal Shelter aims to reduce the length of stay for shelter pets.
