Ollie is a charming little guy, a Tibetan Spaniel and Pekingese mix, who’s ready for his forever home. About a year old and weighing 16 lbs, he was recently rescued from a field near the Texas/Mexico border, where he had no one to care for him. After searching for his previous owners, we’re excited to help him find a loving family. He thrives on human attention and loves cuddling in laps. Ollie is curious about cats and can coexist peacefully with them, but he gets particularly nervous around larger dogs. While Ollie isn’t fully house trained yet, his foster is working with him, and he'll need consistent training in his new home. He’s learning to enjoy toys and is responding well to crate training at night, although he’d prefer to be snuggled up in bed with someone. Ollie's ideal home would include someone who spends a lot of time at home, potentially working remotely, as he’s anxious and has a lot of love to give. He will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped before adoption. Ollie's just looking for a place where he can be cherished and cared for.
