Charlie is a sweet, gentle soul who spent his earlier years as a breeding dog before finding himself at a rural shelter. Thankfully, Midwest Animal ResQ stepped in with caring fosters to help him thrive. Now in foster care, he's learning what it means to be a cherished pet. At around 6-7 years old, Charlie is still a bit shy and would benefit from a home with another dog to guide him. A fenced yard would be perfect for him, allowing him to sunbathe and explore. He's kennel trained and has a kind spirit, just waiting for someone patient to teach him about being loved. Charlie weighs under 20 pounds and is neutered, with a dental cleaning already done. He has a heart murmur, which is a grade 3 with minimal enlargement, and may require medication in the future. His adoption fee is $250.
