Melvin is a young Boerboel mix, estimated to be around 1 year old. Having come to us as a stray, we don't know much about his past, but he's ready to forge a bright future with an adoptive family. This big, goofy boy is full of energy and has a heart to match. Melvin adores other dogs, particularly those his own size, and thrives on playtime filled with chase and wrestling. He loves being around people and tends to follow you everywhere, whether you're cooking or relaxing on the couch. House-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash, Melvin is well-prepared for his forever home. He gets along with children, although due to his size and playful nature, it's best for him to be in a home with older kids who can help him learn good manners. Unfortunately, he does not get along with cats, as his playful spirit may be overwhelming for them.
