About Max
Max is ready to find his forever home! Tipped as a cat from our local TNR colony, Max was trapped on the same day as Gigi, who has since been adopted. Initially, he was scared and reserved, but after experiencing care and kindness, he has transformed into a real love bug. It's no wonder he had trust issues; being abandoned can leave lasting scars on a soul. Now, Max seeks out affection, enjoys being petted, and has demonstrated that he simply needed time to understand he’s safe and loved. His caretaker shares that Max is friendly and gets along well with other cats as long as they don’t hiss at him. With his beautiful gray coat, he would make a wonderful addition to any family. Max will need a little time to decompress in a new environment, but with patience, he'll thrive when he knows he is safe and loved. At around 1-2 years old, Max has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated. Though his journey began as a TNR cat, he is eager to leave that life behind and step into a loving home. With Gigi already having her happily ever after, it’s Max's turn now. Adoption Fee: $50. Phenix City, Alabama is the place to meet him. Click apply to start the adoption process.
