Ace is beginning to reveal his true self after a challenging transition. It's always tough to share about a dog that's still finding his footing in a new environment. Although we don’t have an extensive list of traits yet, we’re starting to see the calm gentleman he truly is. Having come from a home, Ace initially struggled with life in a shelter. After some time to decompress outside, he’s noticeably more at ease. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys the company of our volunteers. His serene demeanor is a refreshing sight and makes us even more eager to find him a loving home. Currently, Ace resides in an outdoor kennel to ensure his comfort, having shown signs of stress indoors. This temporary solution is key for his safety, and he’s thriving in the open air. We can already tell that he’s eager for the stability of a family again, a chance to show his true colors beyond the shelter walls. At just 2 years old and weighing around 60-65 pounds, Ace is neutered and has proven to be great around dogs and children, although a proper introduction to any resident dogs will be necessary. He isn’t compatible with cats. While adopting a dog still working through his personality may seem daunting, it's often those dogs that bring the most joy.
