Nona is incredibly social and genuinely believes that strangers are just friends she hasn’t met yet. Nona is house-trained and crate-trained, good with cats, and does well with most dogs. She has previously lived with young children and did great with them. In her current setup, Nona enjoys the company of eight other dogs, but she can get overly excited with highly energetic ones. While she hasn’t acted aggressively, thoughtful introductions with other dogs are essential. Her main challenge is resource guarding. It’s manageable in her current environment, where she is fed in her crate. A future home will need to continue these simple management practices. Overall, Nona is a goofy, social Rottweiler who adores people. She needs a home that appreciates her wonderful qualities while being prepared for responsible management around food and toys.
