About Melly

Meet Melly! This large mixed-breed dog has been on a journey to regain her health this summer at the Forest County Humane Society. When she arrived, she was nearly bald and battling severe infections, leaving us uncertain of her recovery. Despite testing positive for Lyme disease and anaplasmosis, Melly has shown incredible resilience. After receiving frequent medicated baths and a lot of care, she has made significant progress, steadily growing back her fur and feeling healthier each day. While she's not ready for adoption just yet, we want to showcase her improvement and find her the perfect home when the time comes. If you’re interested in contributing to her care, please reach out for details about her food fund. Every bit of support counts in helping Melly thrive. Ready to make a difference in Melly's life?
