Meet Captain! This playful four-month-old was rescued after being found by a homeless man who wanted to ensure he got the help he needed. Brought to Northgate Animal Hospital, Captain has received excellent care, including vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm prevention. Unfortunately, X-rays revealed an old femoral break that wasn’t healing properly, but he’s on pain medication now, and the injury is healing beautifully. Captain is the epitome of a loving companion. He enjoys every moment with people and has a knack for making friends, whether they’re dogs or kids. He is both kennel and house trained, and he doesn’t even require a leash to go outside; he stays close and responds to calls.
