Meet Evoque, affectionately known as Evie, from the Land Rover litter. This adorable puppy came to us with her mom, Honor, after a family in El Cajon could no longer care for them. Now at 12 weeks old and weighing 7 pounds, Evie is the smallest of her littermates. We estimate she’ll grow to around 22 to 27 pounds as an adult. Evie is a delightful mix of Labrador and Cocker Spaniel, sporting a sleek black coat with a splash of white on her chest and a hint of reddish-brown on her neck. One of her charming habits has everyone in her foster home chuckling—she loves to stop and admire herself in mirrors, seemingly aware of her cuteness. Gentle and calm in nature, Evie would thrive as an only dog but is also playful in her own laid-back way. She travels well in the car, and although she may take a moment to warm up to new faces, once she does, she fully embraces the experience—often leaning in for a good belly rub.
